Privacy Policy for Period Calendar – Cycle Tracker
Privacy Policy for Period Calendar – Cycle Tracker
Effective date: October 2, 2026
Amal Mathew (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the Period Calendar – Cycle Tracker app (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
Cycle and Health Information
Information you enter in the App—such as period dates, symptoms, moods, pain scores, medication information, temperature, and other cycle-related records—is stored on your device. We do not send this information to Google AdMob or use it for advertising.
If you create a backup or export a PDF or CSV report, you control where that file is saved or shared. You can delete your App data using the deletion option in the App or by removing the App from your device.
Advertising and Device Information
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may automatically process information such as:
Device or advertising identifiers, including IDFA, IDFV, or similar identifiers;
IP address and general device information;
Advertising data and interactions with advertisements;
App interactions, diagnostics, crash data, and performance data.
This information may be used to provide ads, limit repeated ads, prevent fraud, measure advertising performance, and, where you have consented, personalize advertising. The App does not provide your cycle or health records to Google for these purposes.
Where required, the App will request consent before personalized advertising or tracking. If you deny Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission, the App may still show contextual or non-personalized ads. Limited identifiers may still be used for frequency capping, fraud prevention, and aggregated reporting.
Google processes advertising information under its own policies:
Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
How Google uses information from partner apps: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Information Sharing
We do not sell your cycle or health information. Information may be processed by Google and its advertising partners as described above, or disclosed when required by law, to protect users, or to protect the security and integrity of the App.
Data Retention and Your Choices
Your cycle records remain on your device until you delete them. Advertising information is retained by Google according to Google’s policies.
You can manage tracking permission through Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on your Apple device and through any privacy choices presented in the App.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly request personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information handled by the App. However, no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, advertising services, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will show a new effective date.
